Collection: Pochampally Ikkat Silk

Pochampally sarees Originate from the pochampally village. These sarees are also famously called ikkat Pochampally sarees. These sarees are pure silk and handwoven. 

Ikkat is a Special type of Tie & die technique where the Silk threads are dyed with colours first and then woven into a saree.

These different coloured silk threads will be Placed in vertical and horizontal directions to get a Particular Design/Pattern on the sarees.

It will almost take seven days to weave an Ikkat Pochampally Silk saree when two members work Continuously. This process increases the worth of the Saree, When compared to a Machine made artificial saree.
